Education
Alumnus
of St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, DAV School, Hans Raj
College (Delhi University) and finally CCS University. The
basic interest in science, technology and medicine saw me
taking up science in school and college. Later, however,
due to my love for social service, shifted and graduated
with Economics / Sociology and topped it up with a Master’s
Degree in Sociology. This was followed by a Post Graduate
Diploma in Computer Science (Certificates from Lotus Development
Corp., UK & Microsoft Corporation, USA) and another in Business
Management (Personnel and HR).
Profession
/ Work Experience
Professional work started in 1990 at Datapro Information
Technology, a computer training company, picking up skills
of management and teaching. I soon became an entrepreneur
and started my own companies – Anupam Associates and Cosmic
Communications in 1993 and 1997 respectively, taking up
assignments in Database Management, Computer Publishing,
Communications and Reprographics. I still devote my time
to nurture these enterprises and in turn they help me to
cover my expenses of bread and butter ! Its been 18 years
in the field of computers.

A born thinker, intellectual, honest, compassionate,
ethical & courageous Indian are the syllables that describe
me.
Hobbies
and Interests
Things that cut, shoot or fly have always interested
me. I love to gather things of the sharp and pointed kind
and I am listed in the Limca Book of Records 2011 for my
collection of knives and sharp/pointed objects.
Guns are objects of passion and fascination. I represent
Delhi State in Shooting. I am a 'Renowned Shot' (as per
Govt. of India's notification No. 147/94-Cus) having qualified
at the 54th National Shooting Competition Championship held
at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi, during January
2011. Earlier, I obtained All India 5th Rank at All India
GV Mavalankar Shooting Championships held at Guwahati in
November 2010.
Photography, fishing, instrumental music and social activism
are the other things that hold my passion.
