ISHWAR
ISHWAR
a
young man of 22 who during his lifetime, touched the lives
of a large number of people. In a society full of indifference
towards the disabled, his life became a shining example to
generate the highest human quality in others – an equal society.
He inspired us to start this organisation for
Inclusion and Social Harmony With Attitude Reconstruction.
A
deeper thought on these words reveals many aspects that seldom
cross our minds.
INCLUSION
: A humanistic philosophy which recognises that
though all individuals are different, they need the same opportunities
and equal spaces in society. It is a move towards developing
a more mature society, community and nation.
SOCIAL HARMONY
: With our legacy of tolerance
and diversity, our strengths must lie in Social Harmony.
ATTITUDE RECONSTRUCTION:
Disability lies in the mind of the observer and not in the
labelled individual. Understanding and spreading this message
is important.
